About the author

Bruce Wymond is a Founding Director of the Global Infrastructure Anti-Corruption Centre, GIACC-Australia. 

Previously he was a professional engineer for some forty years, working initially as a structural engineer, then as a façade engineer involved in expanding this field of engineering in China, South East Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

In addition to his technical roles he also spent twenty-five years in management positions, as a founding partner, director, and managing director of two firms, most recently Inhabit Group, with 350 engineers in 26 offices across 15 countries.

A constant throughout his career was the obvious need to do far more to address the crimes, injustices and safety issues arising from corrupt construction, and this has been the motivation for him writing “Corruption in the Construction Industry”.
